For the Weary
Are you tired?
Tired of work. Tired of changing diapers. Tired of negotiating peace. Tired of dishes piling up in the sink.
Maybe you’re tired of running out of money, tired of fighting with family, tired of trying and failing (again) to get sober or eat right or be patient. Maybe you’re tired of waiting. Maybe you’re tired of going.
Is Facebook making you tired? The news? So much broken, so much needing fixing…
Maybe you’re tired of making decisions or showing up for people who don’t show up for you. Maybe you’re tired of being good and wise and kind while all the people around you do as they please.
I don’t know why you’re tired. I don’t know what you’re tempted to quit or back down from or pull back from or let up on or run away from or disengage with or ignore until it magically stops being hard. But I suspect there’s something hard, something you don’t want to quit, something you need to figure out how to endure.
If so, I created this workshop for you (and me), the weary.
Join me as we look to Hebrews 12:1-3 for five powerful, practical steps that’ll help us “not grow weary or lose heart.” We’ll tell stories, find comfort and encouragement, and cheer each other on as we strive to keep doing the good, hard things God’s calling us to do.
This workshop is available via a private Facebook group. When you purchase it, you'll receive the link and password.
Live workshops are completed, but you'll have access to a past workshop--teaching videos, discussion and reflection questions, and comments from other workshop participants. You can work through the content at your own pace (you'll have access to it indefinitely). In total, you'll have about 3 hours of video teaching and five sets of reflection and discussion questions to consider.
If you don't have a Facebook account you won't be able to access this content.
